Tennis Elbow

Also known as lateral epicondylitis. Tennis elbow is due to inflammation of the common extensor tendon of the wrist. Tennis elbow is typically caused by repetitive microtrauma such as tennis, painting, typing and using a screwdriver. It is more common in men and typically occurs during the ages of 30-50 years old. Signs of tennis elbow include pain around the outside of the elbow, loss of grip strength, and decrease elbow extension.
