Functional Rehabilitation

Functional Rehabilitation is used to help a patient to regain normal function and prevent re-injury. Functional Rehabilitation uses specific movement screens to assess a patient.  Utilizing specific functional screens will reveal what muscles are overworked (tight) and what muscles are underworked (weak). Once this is established, a unique treatment plan will be given for each patient. Strengthening the muscles that are weak or underworked, along with relaxing the muscles that are tight or overworked, can help to relieve pain and prevent future injury.
